On aika heittää iPhonet, energiajuomat ja fidget spinnerit jorpakkoon ja kaivaa esille tamagotchit, puhallustussit ja tarravihot muistien syövereistä, ajalta ennen jonneja!

Luvassa on nostalginen aikamatka menneisyyteen, aikaan jolloin Saku Salin oli jokaisen tytön unelma, netti toimi puhelinmodeemilla ja naapurin Perttiä piti mennä ovelta asti pyytämään leikkimään. Nyt otetaan selvää kuka vielä muistaa kavereiden kotinumerot ulkoa ja näkee edelleen painajaisia Morsosta ja Möröstä.

Stimpan fuksiaiset ovat alkamaisillaan ja tänä vuonna teemana on Jonnet ei muista. Saat itse päättää, mikä muisto olet aikaa ennen Jonneja, oli se sitten Voimariini-paketti, markan kolikko tai Tuttiritari. Mikä tahansa kunnianosoitus tätä aikakautta kohtaan oletkaan, tähän muisteloon saavat osallistua kaikki fuksit. Varustaudu tähän huikeaan muistikapasiteettia treenaavaan seikkailuun ottamalla mukaan sukkahousut, muki, rahaa, henkkarit ja lämpimiä vaatteita. Muista tuoda myös syötävää ja juotavaa itselle, sekä tuomareille, koska anti-jonneuden asiantuntijat vaativat lahjuksia päästääkseen sinut eteenpäin tällä aikamatkalla.

Aikamatkamme alkaa Lounaispuiston ylätasanteelta Grilli21:n vierestä, Yliopiston kirjastoa vastapäätä. Saavu paikalle klo 16:00. Aikamatkailtuamme ympäri Jyväskylää, muistinsa palauttaneet Jonnet siirtyvät jatkoille Bra2:seen.

It’s time to throw away your iPhones, energy drinks and fidget spinners and to dig up  tamagotches, BLOpens and sticker books from the whirlpool of your memory, time before Jonnes! (Jonne = millenial/kid from the 2000s) There’s a train to catch and it’s heading to a nostalgic trip into the past. Time when the internet dial up sound echoes in your mind and you had to walk all the way to your friend’s door if you wanted to ask them to play with you. Now we’ll see who still remembers their friends phone numbers by heart and gets nightmares from the THX intro sound.

So welcome to the Stimulus’ Freshman initiaton party! Fuksiaiset is a traditional Finnish initiation party that welcomes the new students to be part of the university associations (like Stimulus). The idea of the fuksiaiset is that freshmen are divided into groups and they will perform fun tasks in different places in Jyväskylä center. This is the event that Finnish students are talking about many years later, so don’t miss it! To take part in the fuksiaiset you need to bring with you tights, a cup, money, your id, snacks, something to drink (you can bring alcohol) and some warm clothes, because we are going to be outside. The theme and the dresscode of the fuksiaiset are 90’s (childhood memories). So for example you can come dressed up as Spice Girls member, tamagotch or whatever comes to your mind from that era.

The time trip start is in Lounaispuisto (near Grilli21 and the university library) and the fuksiaiset will begin at 16:00. The afterparty is in Club Bra2.

MITÄ MUKAAN/WHAT TO BRING? Sukkahousut, muki, ruokaa ja juomaa itselle ja tuomareiden lahjuksiksi, rahaa ja henkkarit. Lisäksi Jonnet ei muista –teemaan sopiva asu!/Tights, a cup, drinks and snacks for yourself and to bribe the judges, money and your id. Plus outfit that suits for the theme ”Jonnet don’t remember” (= something from the 90’s).
